The new expansion card adds full support for the new specification on motherboards with a PCIe x4 slot. With the USB Type-C port design and backward compatibility with USB 2.0/3.0/3.1, the new expansion card offers an affordable way for users to upgrade to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 specification without having to get a new motherboard.
A single dedicated Power Delivery Port provides up to 20W of power through the SATA Power rather than the PCIE for a more stable power. USB C PD charger features fast charging Type-C Port with Power Delivery 3.0 with PD compatible devices.
